The Pharaoh Amps Class-A Boost PLUS pedal is designed as an adjustable signal boost for tube amplifiers.

The Pharaoh Amplifiers Class-A Boost PLUS preserves and enhances the tone of your guitar and amplifier.

The perfect pedal for pushing your tube amp into overdrive - It's like turning your amp up to "11!"

Don't have channel switching on your vintage amp?  Use a Class-A Boost PLUS to get two sounds from one rig.

Dial in a good sound with your amp and guitar, then kick in the BOOST for solos, or leave the BOOST on all the time and control the amount of overdrive with your guitar volume knob.  You can even use the Class-A Boost PLUS to "pad down" your high-gain amp, and switch it off for leads! 

NEW for 2006 - The Class-A Jr. features all the same great features of the original Class-A Boost in a smaller package.  It's great for players with crowded or small pedalboards, or for just throwing in your guitar case for those impromptu jam sessions.  Sporting Volume and Contour controls, the Class-A Jr. is a great tone tool for the working guitarist.

NEW Line Driver Output stage gives the Class-A Boost PLUS the ability to drive long cable runs and can help decrease noise from your pedal setup caused by impedance mismatching.  (Line Driver not available on Class-A Jr.)

Controls:

• "Volume:"  The Volume control adjusts the overall output level.

• "Contour:"  The Contour control adjusts the amount of negative feedback in the internal amplifier circuit of the Class-A Boost.  Higher Contour settings reduce the amount of negative feedback, increasing gain, body, and grit in the boosted signal.

• "Tone:"  (Class-A Boost PLUS only) The Tone control rolls off unwanted high frequencies from the output signal.

• True bypass switching AND LED indicator with heavy duty 3PDT switch (not pictured, available on all pedals built from 2005 on)

• High-quality Switchcraft input and output jacks
• Durable glass-epoxy circuit board and top-notch components
• Low-noise, discrete transistor amplifier circuit and line driver, biased to Class-A

Every pedal is hand made, one at a time, in North Carolina, USA.  Each pedal is individually numbered and signed by the builder, and every pedal is slightly different.

The pedal comes standard in a blue hammertone finish with a blue LED.
