Replacement Footswitch
Description:
The Pharaoh Amps Switcher 2 is a replacement footswitch for Rivera-era Fender amps, including the Super Champ™, Fender 75™, Deluxe Reverb II™, Princeton Reverb II™, and '80s Concert™.
The Switcher 2 interfaces with your amplifier and controls Channel and Reverb switching with two footswitches. Each switch has its own LED in the correct vintage Fender colors, and connections are made to the amp via a pair of 1/4" TRS jacks.
Controls:
- "CHANNEL:" Changes channels on the amplifier. Please note that the tone of the amp with the footswitch installed IS DIFFERENT than the tone without. The footswitch does not perform the same as pulling the Master control out.
- "REVERB:" Engages or cancels the reverb on the amplifier. The Rivera-era Fenders rob some of the reverb signal in order to increase gain for channel switching. The amp's reverb will therefore be somewhat muted when the channel is switched to Lead. By connecting only the Black cable, you can use this switch for reverb switching only.
