Vintage DELAY
The Pharaoh Amps Echo Jr. is a vintage-style, analog flavored digital delay. The circuit uses a special digital chip for echo effects, and a custom filter to give your music a warm, vintage tone.

(BLEMISHED UNIT, NEW PICS UP SOON!)
The Echo Jr. is a true-bypass delay pedal with the warm tone of a vintage analog echo. Imagine a vintage green MXR delay, with nearly triple the delay time, less noise, battery operation, and a super-compact footprint, and you've got the Echo Jr. Designed to fit between cheap mass-produced digital delays and super-expensive boutique tape and vintage analog echos, the Echo Jr. is capable of some serious sonic mojo without blowing your budget. Featuring a robust and solid digital delay circuit, the Echo Jr. preserves your straight signal and dishes up approx. 400 milliseconds of juicy analog-sounding delay. Great for thickening leads, adding texture to your rhythms, or creating sonic mayhem in "runaway" mode, the Echo Jr. is a great addition to almost any guitar effect setup!
Co-designed by Francisco Peña of Tonepad, the Echo Jr. is a modern "boutique" delay with the attitude and tone of a great vintage pedal. Constructed on a high-quality PCB for reliable operation, the Echo Jr. is built to last. In years to come, this pedal may become one of the same "sought after" vintage units that it is designed to replace!
Why buy a digital delay with only 3 knobs, one mode, no tap tempo or other "bells and whistles?" The Echo Jr. is designed to sound warm, like an analog delay or a tape echo, and has no internal trimmers to get misadjusted or moving parts to wear out. If you want to buy a delay pedal made in a giant foreign factory, then feel free to do so. These pedals, while offering great versatility and bang-for-buck, are about as warm and personal as a thrown knife. Every Echo Jr. pedal is hand built and tested to make sure that it is the absolute best delay pedal that we can build.
Controls:
TIME: Controls the amount of delay time, from approx. 12 milliseconds to approx. 400 milliseconds of analog-type delay
REPEATS: Adjusts the amount of feedback in the delay circuit and the number of times the echo sound will repeat before fading away. Due to the analog filtering, successive repeats will become dirtier-sounding just like a vintage analog or tape echo. The Echo Jr. will also go into “runaway,” or infinite feedback, like a vintage echo unit. To stop the “runaway” sound, reduce the REPEATS control.
MIX: Changes the amount of delay signal mixed in with the straight guitar input. The Echo Jr. can produce an echo that is slightly louder than the original signal with the MIX control at full.
"MORE" SWITCH: (optional, add $10) Increases the maximum delay time to approx. 600 msec. WARNING! Due to the limited amount of memory in the Echo Jr, activating the "MORE" switch will significantly decrease the fidelity of the echo tone. On lower MIX settings this might not be noticeable, but it is pretty dirty sounding with the MIX up. Use at your own risk!
